Seed Sowing in Sault Ste. Marie!

Bill and Joan Dotson returned from their mission trip to Canada and had this to share:

Talking to people about Jesus & about starting a new church, building relationships, prayerwalking neighborhoods, finding new ways to meet people – all of this and more was done in Sault Ste. Marie August 2 – 7, 2010.  More than a dozen people learned personally about Jesus and received a Bible – several of those accepted Christ!  Relationships were built with people in City Hall, the police department and local churches as well as with businesses.  Almost all of the city of Sault Ste. Marie was covered in prayer.  Because of this “work” we were able to drive our little train pulling children in front of a motel and the following day the train was busy in a park.  We also gave out free popcorn and information about the coming of a new Canadian National Baptist Church in SSM!  The children loved it – and parents were open.  Praise the Lord for doors that were opened.  There will be another trip in June 2011.  The prayer request is:  That the Lord would provide a Canadian Seminary Graduate to be the church planter.
